hrm, should've stayed home

every few weeks i go through periods of acute misanthropy in which i don't want to talk to anyone or look at anyone or do anything. my mum said this kind of thing must be reasonably hereditary, because in his late teens my brother went through several bouts of depression (which i don't have btw) coupled with alcoholism and a general hatred for the human race, as did/does my father AND his father. although the trend appears to lie isolated in the males of our family, i definitely take after my father more than my mother so.. it must be indicative of some brainfuckery in our bloodline :S

so, pretty much 3/4 members of my immediate family are either raging alcoholics, chronic smokers, have sociopathic tendencies or all of the above (throw a bit of nihilism in there)

the party last night was average, to say the least.
